General Discipline — Key Points
The College expects all students to maintain decorum and follow the schedules and rules listed below.
College timings & attendance
- Classes (Aided): 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & 1:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.; Tutorial hours: 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Self-financing programme timing: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Students must reach early, be present for prayer song, and avoid wandering or disturbing others.
Classroom decorum
- Stand when the teacher enters and until permitted to sit.
- No entry/exit during class without teacher’s permission.
- Spend free hours in library/reading room — avoid loitering or crowding corridors.
Campus behaviour & assemblies
- Do not deface walls, furniture, or any campus property.
- Unauthorized gatherings, assemblies, or political activities are prohibited.
- Strikes or agitation inside campus are strictly forbidden.
ID card, dress & discipline
- Wearing College ID is mandatory; fines apply for violations.
- Dress modestly, as per College guidelines.
- Principal’s decisions on discipline matters are final.
Attendance, leave & examinations
- Leave for more than one period must be applied by 10:00 a.m.
- 75% minimum attendance required; condonation as per rules.
- Examination rules must be strictly followed.
Library rules
- Library hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; silence must be maintained.
- Books must be handled carefully; fines for late/damaged books.
- UG students: 3 tickets; PG students: 5.
